New Survey of Prospects Finds 30 Percent of Tours Happen when Leasing Office is Closed
As the country continues to rebound from the economic instability caused by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the national rent index shows rent growth is up for the second straight month. As properties look to capitalize on this momentum, Tour24, the award-winning platform for self-guided tours, is releasing new insights from a survey of nearly 250 prospects on what renters are looking for in the leasing process. The study, conducted in February and March, shows that renters want to experience a property at their own pace and two-thirds of prospects say they prefer to visit properties solo. Meanwhile, nearly 30 percent of residents toured apartments when the leasing office was closed, showcasing the need for properties to offer increased convenience and access when it comes to the touring process.
